Carlos Irisarri, Community Programs and Partnerships Manager
Carlos was born in Paris, France to a French father and a Panamanian mother. He moved to Panama when he was nine years old and spent his teenage years in Panama City. Carlos then attended Tufts University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy and political science, before transitioning to a Master’s at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in sustainable development.
Carlos is very excited to take over the role of Community Programs and Partnerships Manager for Everett, Framingham, Natick, Martha’s Vineyard, and North Suffolk communities (specifically Chelsea, Winthrop, and Revere). He is passionate about ensuring that a rapid and efficient green energy transition does not leave large segments of the population behind, and that equity is at the forefront of public/private sector efforts to cut down on emissions, both in the United States and abroad.
In his free time, Carlos enjoys watching basketball (huge Celtics fan) and football/soccer, as well as kicking a ball around from time to time. Additionally, he greatly enjoys playing board games and videogames. He is also an avid movie-watcher, a political hobbyist and is trying to reignite his previously existing passion for reading.
