You have just stumbled across our first post ever! Very exciting. Who is All In Energy?, you might ask. We are a non-profit organization with a mission to accelerate an inclusive transition to a clean energy economy. What does that even mean? Basically, it means that we are all in on helping to build an economy that is both energy efficient and powered by renewable energy in a way that benefits everyone. We’re working to make sure everyone has access to government and utility energy efficiency and renewable energy incentives so that all families can take action to improve the comfort, affordability, and sustainability of their homes. (Click here for the research behind our work) It’s a big task, so we’re starting right at home, connecting underserved communities of Boston (historically communities with high rates of renters, low-to-moderate income households, people who speak languages other than English, and people of color) to energy efficiency programs that save families money and increase the comfort of their homes. As they reduce energy use, these programs also cut carbon emissions which helps to slow climate change. (More about a no-cost home energy assessment) Moving forward, we will be launching a training program to bring residents from the same communities that we serve into clean energy careers, growing a multiracial, multilingual workforce that better represents and better serves our state. (More about our mission) Thus, we accelerate the transition to an inclusive clean energy economy. What can I expect to see here? Here, in this blog, we will be writing about the latest and greatest clean energy and job related news that is relevant to you and updating you on our work! Sounds great! What can I do? Glad you asked! You can...
