How does the no-cost
Home Energy Assessment work?
In-Person Home Energy Assessment
- During an in-person assessment a certified Energy Specialist will visit your home to identify opportunities to save energy, including:
- Performing a safety check of your heating system
- Installing eligible energy- and water-saving devices
- Assessing the potential to improve air sealing or insulation in your walls, attic and basement.
- Afterwards, you will have the option to review the Mass Save recommendations and eligible incentives on a 30-minute zoom session.
Virtual Home Energy Assessment
- During a virtual energy assessment, you will scan your home through the SeeAir App. The app will guide you through recording your floorplan and taking the necessary photos around the house.
- During your scheduled 30-minute Zoom session, a certified Energy Specialist will walk through Mass Save recommendations and eligible incentives for your home.
