Renter Energy Savings Program

Renters and Landlords:
Save Money and Make Your Home More Comfortable

The City of Cambridge and All In Energy have partnered to connect you to state and utility incentive programs, starting with a no-cost home energy assessment!

Whether you are a renter or a landlord, All In Energy will help you save money and make your home more comfortable through energy efficiency services. The services we provide are funded by the "energy efficiency" charge on your utility bill -- we want to help you access the benefits you already pay for!

RENTERS
HOMEOWNERS & LANDLORDS

Renters:

Renters do not need to involve their landlords to receive benefits from Massachusetts energy efficiency programs! As a renter in a 1-4 unit building, you can receive:
  • LED light bulbs to replace incandescent light bulbs
  • Advanced power strips
  • High efficiency shower heads
  • Programmable thermostats
To receive additional low-to-no cost energy efficiency measures such as insulation, air sealing, or heating/cooling upgrades, connect your landlord with us!

RENTERS

Landlords and Homeowners:

If your building or home is 1-4 units, the no-cost home energy assessment provides:
  • Installment of LED light bulbs (including in common areas), advanced power strips, programmable thermostats, and high efficiency shower heads that can reduce your water bill
  • A report with customized recommendations for maximizing your building’s energy efficiency
  • A confidential home health and safety check
  • Access to additional low-to-no-cost efficiency measures like insulation and air-sealing, which can reduce pest infestations
  • Rebates for appliance replacement, heating and cooling equipment upgrades, and more
Landlords receive 75-90% off insulation improvements depending on the number of participating units.
